6 TIPS FOR THE BEST BABY SHOWER CAKES
Babies are a blessing and at The Birth Poster we’re happy to help celebrate those special moments children give us! If you’re planning a party to celebrate the impending arrival of a little one, you’re going to need a cake. It’s a must. Everybody loves cake! No baby shower is complete without it. Here are 6 tips for baby shower cakes that will blow your mind!

Chocolate cakes
Chocolate cake is always a good idea! Almost everybody loves it. I mean, how could you not? There’s endless variants of chocolate cake, some easier to make than others. Here’s some inspiration if you’re down for some chocolate. It’ll be a big success in the baby shower.

Strawberry baby shower cakes
Strawberry season is just around the corner and we are so ready for it. Mmm the taste of that red, delicious berry. Strawberries taste just like summer. If you can’t find fresh strawberries, it may work with frozen as well.

Taste the rainbow
The saying goes that there’s a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. If that’s true or not is for us to know and you to find out. A thing we for sure know is true is that rainbow baby shower cakes are the best cakes ever. They are perfect if you don’t know what color to pick for your cake. Just go with them all! A fun way of doing a rainbow cake is to make it all white and boring on the outside. Once you slice into it, you get the amazing pop of color!

Disney Baby shower cakes
We totally understand if your unborn doesn’t have a favorite Disney character yet. That would be weird. But Disney is fun for all ages. Whatever Disney character you like, whether you’re more into the classics like The Lion King, or identifies with Elsa from Frost, there’s something special for all.

Superhero cakes
We all have our favorite superhero, don’t we? Spiderman always makes the right choices, superman is the strongest of them all and iron man’s not strong at all but has an awesome supersuit. What about Harry Potter? Yeah, he is totally a superhero. He saves people and he kinda has a costume. Unleash your superpowers and make superhero baby shower cakes!

Gender reveal cakes
Why not hit two birds with one stone and make a gender reveal cake for the baby shower? If you know what gender you’re expecting of course. It’s a super fun way of celebrating at the baby shower. Make a cake filled with a colorful, sweet surprise that tumbles out when you cut into it, or use gel food coloring to color the inside blue or pink.
